The Horch type 853 Sports Cabriolet was presented for the first time at the IAA in Berlin. He became very fast due to his beauty and his reliability a true competitor for the Mercedes 500 and 540 supercharged models. This early version of the type 853 shows in contrast to the later models a particularly long bonnet and an extremely low windscreen, therefore it appears even more sportive. All trims are made of brass and are chromed. With the later models all trim were made from alloy. This car was extensively restored some years ago and is since 40 years in one ownership!
